This article is very interesting and provides some insight into the politics of Miss Meirs' nomination. The ladies in the Bush family are very pro-choice. He has two daughters and according to Barbara Bush (quote) "I want to make sure that my son does nothing to take away the right to choose from my grand daughters" She said this from the podium of a WH meeting 6 months ago. Her son was with her and he looked very coy and giggled nervously..

This article says a lot about W and why he sometimes acts the way he does especially with regards to choice of his current SC nominee.
