Tenchusatsu, oh heavens, that's a bad statement to make. And it's untrue too. It's actually a bit mean-spirited, blanket statement to say that immigrants are better than Americans.

I replied to a later post, without seeing your post.

First, just because someone wants to come here, doesn't necessarily make them better than the people here. Likewise, people here are not necessarily better than people elsewhere. You really have to judge people individually.

Second, people of all political persuasions are very capable. They don't have to have your political persuasion to be good.

At my startup, we have people that are all over the map - from socialist/communist in attitude to hard-core Republicans and Dems, to Independents. One person complimented me on our ability to have so much diversity packed at our company. Diversity means a variety of everyone, of any age - old or young, of any political persuasion, and of any race - white or black or asian, etc. Diversity doesn't mean a carbon copy of oneself. You really have to judge people's results.
