First of all, some of the greatest contributions to this country have had little to do with hard work and the accumulation of money. These contributions were more concerned with morality, freedom and integrity than sweat shops. In fact, hard work and the accumulation of wealth are far down on the list of things that have contributed to this nation's greatness........a concept that I'm sure is utterly foreign and difficult to grasp for many immigrants, and apparently, their offspring. Its a concept that requires the open mindedness, enlightenment and sophistication of a citizen whose family has been in this country for more than two generations.
In the above paragraph about what has contributed to America's greatness, you spend one sentence sort of describing the things These contributions were more concerned with morality, freedom and integrity than sweat shops. and all the remainder of the paragraph bashing immigrants and their descendants. 10 words (sort of) out of 150 describing what makes America great, and the rest complaining about something.
Secondly, I complain 24/7 whenever I see my country and the values for which stands undermined by incompetents and opportunists......people like your leaders. In the past 5 years, your representatives have done so much damage to the image and functioning of this country, it seems almost impossible that its happened.......like its been a very bad dream. But instead of being repentant, you all are indignant that people actually object to your corruption, dishonesty and incompetence. And in an effort to belittle, you call it whining.
You should have just stopped after the fourth word and cut out all the stuff after 24/7 :-) |
