Soooo..... let's not have any laws then? The people who wrote the Constitution didn't mention God. They didn't just forget. They clearly wanted a separation. They clearly wanted to protect individuals - providing them with the conditions allowing them to pursue life, liberty and happiness. It is easily stated, but it is more difficult to do it properly. To this day we are having difficulties providing equal justice to all. It is not easy. I don't think they had any designs on protecting potential life. It is clear that on somethings you have to leave up to God.
