A child is billions of developed cells with a conscious human brain, not one fertilized egg.
And no, I am not going to look at any of the shameful, disgusting photo scare tactics of the religious right. Those people are simply trying to make everyone vomit and never want to have sex again, then shame them into sending checks. The religious right raise millions by turning people off about sex and calling everyone but them a "murderer". In fact they support many policies which kill all kinds of people, including babies.
Meanwhile, with their stupid dishonest "abstinence only" rules, the religious right creates more unwanted pregnancies, unwanted children, sexually transmitted diseases, ignorance, teen suicides, closeted gays and yes even abortions.
If the religious right want to be chaste and avoid sex, let them, but they're not going to tell the rest of us what to do, and they're not going to outlaw the natural rights of women to make decisions about their own bodies. They're also wrong if they consider themselves more moral or better people than the rest of us. And no, fertilized eggs are not "kids". Accept it and get over it. And quit calling 70% of the country "murderers" just for supporting womens rights. We're not. |
