I have not read Bohms. However, I did a little research after your post. I find his ideas interesting. Certainly I see no harm in viewing life in such a way.

Religions (in general) however see everything as polarised absolutes: good and evil, blessed and damned--etc. Loved by God, hated by God--and so on.

I think mythology can be both interesting and useful to growth. However, when it is formalised as a means of social power and control--well--it tends to run into opposition...
