<You have no remorse for what you have been found guilty of. I think the judge should take note, and rule on your sentencing accordingly. >

Seems about right, and Anthony@ does seem to have made a habit of dodgy things over the years.

The USA does punish people who break the laws to get other people's money by various nefarious means. I like that. They don't seem to gaol people who make simple mistakes in innocence.

It gives me confidence in USA investment opportunities to know that people who operate illegally are stopped. The SEC even investigated the SI Great Globalstar Memorial Day Massacre, thinking, mistakenly, that it was an illegal conspiracy to move the market price whereas it was really a fun dehypothecation programme to force shorts out by reducing the number of shares available for shorting.

Conspiracies are legal, as are schemes to increase share prices. It's only illegal conspiracies which are illegal. Schemes to move market prices are also legal, for example companies buy their own shares back and cancel them to increase share prices [which seems dopey to me, but that's beside the point]. Companies also split, and combine, shares to affect the share price.

I hope Anthony@ goes away for a long stretch. Corrupting the FBI is not good for public order and compliance with laws. I think judges will take a very unfavourable attitude to that. They throw the book at people who challenge the authority of the state. Messing with judges is even worse!! Part of not messing with judges is showing contrition and acceptance of their decisions.

As you say, there doesn't seem to be much [or any] in the way of contrition.
