From options standpoint, the probability of a financial meltdown
is higher than usual right now due to low vix, and extremely high
put interest. This means that a lot of puts are sold virtually
naked. This will result in a very large computer-generated selling of futures,
should the prices move through the put strike prices. A move
down greater than 2 standard deviations could trigger it.
