The coming out of Brandon Ore. 146 yards as a redshirt freshman.

I recall Jim Druckenmiller as a sophomore coming into a game when Tech was behind 30 points in the last quarter. The quarter back we had was not doing any good that day.

Out of nowhere he throws this bomb to another sophomore streaking down the sidelines and completes for a score. The crowd in amazement is looking at each other in disbelief saying where in the world did this kid come from and who is this new receiver?

I am not positive of the year or the game but I think we were behind to Miami and I think the receiver was Brian Still. That duo would go on in their senior year and stomp Texas in the Sugar Bowl and that game began the new Beamer era more than any other. After that game we became feared.

Please correct me if I have any of my facts wrong ....I get past yesterday and things already become fuzzy.....Gregor.
