Smearvet funding by Delay's Foundation is being done in an indirect tit-for-tat kickback way. That is, no one would be able to prove in court that the money was payback to the Texas home-builder who initially financed the smear campaign, but Delay has announced a 26 million contract with the same builder to erect his Foundation headquarters. 26 million is a ton of money for a non-profit org's HQ. You can bet millions of it are part of the payback scheme.

Worse, this money comes from corporate donors who want to buy legislation from Delay, so we the people are basically paying for all these evil-doings, then paying again when these corrupt congressmen sell out our interests and futures to the lobbyists. So basically, the people lose three times. We lose a fair democracy, we lose fair representation and we get the tab.
