ORLANDO, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 10, 2005--Vision Works Media Group, Inc. (Pink Sheets:VWKM - News) and wholly owned subsidiary New Screen Television, Inc. have announced that the company has begun negotiations for national and international distribution of their TV channel, New Screen TV, via satellite. This supports their long-term goal of reaching 50 million paying households in the U.S. and abroad. The company is negotiating with satellite distribution companies to uplink the New Screen TV signal for distribution to all cable, satellite, and fiber-to-the-home distributors in North America.

Rick Erikson, New Screen TV's General Manager, said, "Satellite distribution enables every pay-TV distributor, cable, satellite, and fiber-to-the-home, to add New Screen TV to their basic package. Our signal will be available nationwide, to potentially every household in the U.S., by Q1 2006. As part of a basic TV package, New Screen TV will receive revenues from every subscriber it reaches on a monthly basis."

New Screen TV has signed a distribution agreement with Houston, Texas-based Optical Entertainment Network (OEN), 4fiber.tv. OEN has announced their plans to deploy fiber-to-the-home (FTTH) to 1,600,000 households in Houston, Texas, the 10th largest television market in the U.S. The channel will be included in the basic package line-up. Erikson added, "We are excited that as OEN grows into new markets, we will grow with them in those markets."

New Screen Television, Inc. started as an Orlando, Florida-based broadcasting company that still transmits its television service, New Screen TV, to viewers over-the-air via WRCF-TV Channel 29 Orlando. New Screen TV is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

FISION(TM) is the OEN service that will deliver Video, Internet and Voice, a convergence that consumers have anticipated for years. FISION will deliver over 300 video channels including popular networks such as DISCOVERY, USA, SCI-FI and SHOWTIME, 50-plus channels of High Definition Television (HDTV), Video-on-Demand (VOD) and original and specialty programming. In addition, FISION will deliver Internet connectivity at unprecedented speeds of 10 Mbps symmetrical (equivalent to eight times T1 speed) per subscriber. FISION will also provide IP Voice services including local and long distance services, to deliver on the promise of true convergence from one company.
