Speaking of rocking the boat, GM and Ford seem to be capsizing. Dirty great gas-guzzling SUVs are NOT the most fashionable item right now. Toyota, with cute little gizmoes like the Prius [good timing there] is doing very well: finance.yahoo.com

I always think of a primus when I see Prius. I guess a lot of people haven't heard of a primus. I'll see if Google has a picture.

Sure enough: sethwhite.org As I remember it. Our family used a primus in the good old days when camping.

"GM closing another SUV line" has come to pass. Chalk up another one. It's a slow-moving TeoTwawki. I note HOV TOL etc have taken fright too. FNM hanging in there. GE not showing hairy legs. finance.yahoo.com

Meanwhile, gold at all-time high [for those under age 20 anyway, more or less]. Naked Aztecs dancing with glee around their bonfire, chanting ancient incantations, waving their little family jewels in the air, thinking their day has come again. Bring back the human sacrifice!!
