Yes, I have no argument with that. Actually there was a time when I though they used radio-controlled vehicles but, as you say, even that's too expensive. The use of patsies is by far the cheapest and easiest, as in the UK. And there's no shortage of takers for the job.

I posted the piece tongue in cheek because I was rather amused that the US military wanted to sponsor such a competition. And then I thought, well, they have a robot president so why not some trucks?
