i think gold is cool, just not gold stocks. bellwether NEM still off its high of 21 months ago, despite the commodities breakout and the wisdom of NEM executives to invest in the energy sector via COS. by contrast energy-stock indices up 70% over that period as you know. and despite going nowhere for 21 months, NEM still has 46x PE, vs single-digit for many energy stocks.
