I only know that I caught him lying years earlier... You and I then had similar experiences, like many others, sadly. But it's not my goal to defend Anthony Elgindy the personality. Rather, my interest is in allowing Anthony Elgindy the defendant a chance to give his side of the story. I also don't like the way the government broad-brushed all of Tony's site members as a den of thieves (politely termed "possible unindicted co-conspirators"). If they truly believed that, it shows how misguided they were. If they only said that to scare away site members from testifying, that's unforgivable. My hunch is the latter. Because if you are going to paint Tony as a front-runner who trades against his advice, it's hypocritical to level RICO charges against the very site members you are alleging he tried to screw. - Jeff
