My grandfather was a mortician, he would know. Actually, after all those years--my grandparents had themselves cremated, ha!!
But seriously, Erythromycin, Zithromax, Biaxin, Doxycycline, Levofloxacin, Augmentin and generics ought to sell well, you may be on to something, but I doubt there is a decent trade in there. The market could just as likely go against all trades in a pandemic.
I ought to buy a life insurance policy? Being asthmatic, I tend to drown in my own fluids when the flu comes round.
I can't get too excited about all this. Maybe the bird flu kills of 100k worldwide and then burns out, mostly hype? Even a million dead is a drop in the bucket, the planet is crawling with human flesh--how can those of us in the first world worry when the third world suffers all the time --plague or not.
Say, speaking of third world suffering--I found a great outfit called International Relief Teams. They have administrative expense of just 1.9%. irteams.org 800-638-8079
I liked the idea of doctors without borders, but this one is very efficient, CFC code is 0351. Interestingly, dr's w/out borders does not appear in my CFC booklet this year, interesting and strange. I speculate that they got in trouble giving some aid to Cuba and got dropped. |
