ASML sees 2005 market share in upper 50-percent range

AMSTERDAM, Oct 12 (Reuters) - Dutch chip equipment maker ASML (ASML.AS: Quote, Profile, Research) (ASML.O: Quote, Profile, Research) expects a market share in the upper 50-percent range in 2005 and a further increase in 2006, Chief Financial Officer Peter Wennink said on Wednesday.
ASML is the world's largest maker of semiconductor lithography machines that map out electronic circuits on silicon wafers.
