The market has gone down sharply lately. One big cause is that the real estate bubble is gradually bursting now. Inflation is rearing its ugly head. And the government is broke and in debt so deeply that nobody knows how to pay for anything anymore without raising taxes, one thing Republicans refuse to do. The gas prices alone are in the midst of stopping this economy. Of course certain sectors and companies always do well.
