"The article states"

The article states???? LOL, well read the bible and see if YOU think that's true. JMO that IT ISNT. In fact his teachings directly contradict in several places as I've said, and accepting the OT 'except where contradicted by Jesus' is Catholic dogma as far as I know. So even the church sees his teachings as different. So how anyone could use the word "totally" begs the question as to what axe they are grinding?

"I don't have to quote that he actually 'worships'... "no doubt he venerates it"

Well, theres a HUGE difference between vererate and worshiping.... in fact your statement that he 'worships' any text directly contradicts his 'great commandments'. Sooo, when someone says Jesus 'thought' the OT was divinely inspired... well what does that mean? The whole thing? Parts? Was he deliberately not trying to rock the boat so he wouldn't get 'crucifed'?

All I know is he couldn't possibly have thought the whole thing was divine because why the hell would he bother teaching so differently??? LOL, people get so literal with this stuff.

JMO, but there has never been any way to acertain the exact truth of any of these issues by reading the bible, and I'm a bit confused as to how someone {you} could possibly think that there IS some ultimate (black and white) truth on the topic since it's exactly the same thought process that you seem to have a problem with by those who take the bible literally 'the other way'???
