Please post the results of your system restore. If it works I'll ignore the update, but I don't know how I'll get around it in subsequent versions of WMP that are sure to come along.

This is a reason that I never felt any guilt about downloading free songs on Napster. I already "bought" the song on an lp, probably again if I wanted the greatest hits compilation, then again when it moved to cd form and probably again in boxed set or something else. I'm all for giving the artist his cut, but only once. He/she only wrote it once!

Are we coming to a time when you'll only be able to listen to a purchased cd a certain number of times before the data on it disintegrates?
