a 'no prisoners' rout. beginning to look a bit like the recent mini-crash in oil stocks ( which i note has resumed today as well ) .
copper stocks under huge pressure as well...if PD is any indication, the copper market itself is likely also an accident waiting to happen, at least short term ( of course the backwardation and physical tightness continue unabated ) . lots of in-the-money calls to be taken out in PD as well.
on the positive side, money flows in the various resource stocks actually look reasonably good, in spite of the big swoon in prices.
a lot probably depends on how the broader market fares from here. if it keeps going lower, i don't think the hot sectors will be able to decouple in the short term, especially if the decline turns nasty.
