So far, the best thing about the bird flu is that it seems to have attracted the attention of Our Peerless Leader, GWB. With bird flu on his mind (he does not even have to try to master the pronunciation of "avian") he is less likely to think about things to do that might cause more trouble. Hey, how do you like what your private Toll Booth is doing today? I must admit that I am having a hard time sharing some of the trepidations that seem to have beset some other energy investors. Maybe if the dollar were really a good currency I might consider holding some, but I'd rather have oil and gas. Anything over $50 for oil or over $10 for gas is just fine with me.
