I hope you're right and it's just a Judeocon deviance --not an American one... However, you overlook the fact that Bush was RE-elected in 2004 DESPITE the ongoing war in Iraq(*). As I once put it, the dirty little secret beneath all this may well be that waging war abroad is the only way for the US not to wage it at home.... Good point. I think his election is an aberration due to a peculiar set of circumstances but if it becomes the norm, I will leave the country. I am waiting to see how the 2006 elections go. ted
