So America is reduced to governing by crisis. We won't see any substantial progress on any of our most pressing needs until we again see a disaster combined with a President who happens to be a visionary. That is rare. Good luck to see that happen in the next 20 years. Bull. I am not buying it. There are two different groups of people in this country with two very different ways of seeing the world. Its like parents who are not in sync. Each one has their own version of how the kids should be raised and each imposes their version on the kids, driving the kids crazy and making the family dysfunctional. Its the same with the US. There can be no continuity because one guy wants every thing to be black and the next guy in power wants everything white. I wouldn't mind if they both came from an intelligent POV that has the best interest of the country at heart but that is not the case. And now that schizophrenia has lead this country into a real disaster that will take years from which to recover. Its very disheartening........there was so much positive momentum under Clinton and its all been pissed away. ted
