there must be so much pressure in washington to not touch existing tax codes that flat tax is a dead dead dead issue.

I assume this panel got salary and all expenses for meetings etc and came up with nothing a few could have done a year ago. maybe they did and someone said no we really need a task force to study the situation and come up with real bold reforms.
