There may be some places with to (sic) much of your so called diversity.

Yes, a little diversity can certainly go a long way. Some diversity is just so offensive that we need to protect the sensibilities of the decent and righteous; they shouldn't have to obey the law or make concessions to those ignorant, indecent idiots who don't understand that their diversity is unacceptable. We should have a cutoff - a sliding scale of acceptable diversity. When it intrudes into our lives, it must be put in its place.

Or wait, maybe you meant we ought to have quotas? That would be good! We can limit the number of ideas we allow that don't agree with ours; yes, that would probably keep things under control. If we only allow token diversity here and there, it shouldn't threaten our traditional status quo.

Thomas, diversity, like freedom of speech, sometimes results in situations that make us uncomfortable. It may require an acceptance from us that stretches our own tolerance levels. It doesn't mean we get to draw the lines just because we don't like it.
And if we chose to draw the line on the basis of personal principles, then there may be consequences.
Labeling those who disagree with you as indecent, ignorant, and inferior is the defense of a threatened person, not a rational one.

Rambi, diverse, indecent and with her head happily up her butt
