The leadership? Probably not for a good long time. Hell, the Democrat leadership hasn't come out against the war so why should I vote for a bunch of social programs I'm against?

If the Democrats had put up a candidate who was socially conservative and in favor of leaving Iraq I would certainly have voted for him. If they'd put up a candidate who was in favor of leaving Iraq but was socially liberal I'd have had to think about it. As it was, the Democrats left me with a very easy decision.
