Whether you agree with them or not, all of them are accomplished scholars. From an undergraduate perspective, I believe Breyer was an economics major at Stanford. Ginsburg graduated number 1 in her class at Cornell, Souter was phi beta kappa at Harvard and was a Rhodes Scholar, and Kennedy was a phi beta kappa economics major at Stanford and London School of Economics. How does Miers stack up?
