Robert Bork was on Hardball today. He completely trashed Harriet Miers, saying over and over again that she couldn't write a brief if her life depended on it.......that her English sucks.......and that her nomination was pure cronyism. This was at the gym I saw Hardball......the next thing I knew...three different channels showed Bush talking to some soldiers in Iraq via satellite and each channel described it as a pathetically bad attempt at staging; that the exchange was completely unbelievable. Gone are the days when the media would try to put a good spin on a bad day. ted
