The judge sent them back to the nursery to come to a settlement. Barrick will probably demand Blanchard pay their legal costs to date, and Blanchard is paying chicken to the end.

The central banks lent out their gold. Barrick was one of many that took advantage of that in a legal manner to hedge their gold revenues in a nearly risk free manner. Case closed. The lawsuit has no merits, but lawyers will take advantage of the brain dead to make some money.
