Hi SI , I took the plunge today! Have been following the thread for a while. After looking at the Edgar reports, I have decided that I want to own some of this company. However, my approach is first through options. I just bought MAR45 calls. Will turn some of the profits into a longer position over time. I have been long on WCOM for some time and think that ASND's business with UUNET will only increase as UUNET's needs increase. ASND'S strong cash position and virtually no debt means that, no matter what happens, they can't go under. That means that in the worst of situations, the price can't go to zero! The best of situations could be a buy-out/merger or to become the darling of wall street again. Under this scenario the stock has already proven it could at least double in value and do so rather quickly. I like the fundamentals and think the TA also supports getting in at this time. I have never participated in a roller-coaster ride with a company anywhere near the magnitude of what I have now let myself in for with this one! Ah well.....builds character!
