Drake....from Oil Sands....Here is a continuation of the discussion you opened up:

"I would stop him and the border and send him home"

LOL

Let's not forget that we "owe" the U.S.A and their military to fly Canadian troops, equipment and support our missions in Afghanistan."

====Uh MOST Canadians do not support Americas illegal war efforts. But you know this.

"Today we have zero to protect our country, we can't even fly our own troops on peace keeping missions. We abandoned nearly every "friendly" nation and ignored nearly the entire civilized world in IRAQ.

====Your list of the so called Coalition of the willing is a sick joke. The majority of the citizens of those countries do NOT support Americas war on innocent Iraqis and war on Islam. The vast majority of these countires were pressured by Washington.

"Who protects Canada today? Is the world suddenly all peace, flowers and harmony?"

====We don't need protection. Like Costa Rica and every country in the Americas we have no enemies. Not one country in the Americas is at war with any other one and so need no armies and no defense. When a country isn't on a terro campaign like America is there is no need of an army but when there is an administration in Washington bent on stealing the worlds oil and sticking its nose in everyone elses business so Wal-mart and McDonalds can have an easier time expanding their crap to these other countries then of course a huge army is needed.

"When the tsunami hit Sri Lanka last Jan. the Canadian military had use Russian aircraft to get there, in fact they had to charter private aircraft to transport our DART team."

=====Yes this really is disgraceful. Canada needs not military planes but humanitarian planes.

The fact that the Canadian military does not have the aircraft suitable for transporting our Disaster Assistance Response Team and support department of defense teams or transport them to conflicts nearly breaks our NATO contract and is an insult the Americans who die each day protecting democracy and freedom.

====They are certainly not dying in my name or in the name of most Canadians. Canada has spoken. It does not support Americas war of aggression in the mid-east. So let the yanks feel insulted LOL

"The USA owes us??? Mmmmh...interesting. Why is it that Canada turned their back on the U.S. and 49 other countries? Are we flat broke because the U.S. owes us $5 bil?

We will let China come to Canada and take our oil but we can't support 49 other countries in Iraq. That's is really really whacked

====Funny how I have not heard one single country of these 49 so called coalition members criticize Canada. Even Japan has over 70% of its people against its participation in the war on Iraq.

Recent polls show Bush is the most unpopular president ever and that the vast majority of Americans feel they were lied to and thus no longer support the war. Where on earth have you been hiding. Its even all over CNN LOLOL
