There was a segment on 60 Minutes about Americans taking "medical holidays" to India and Thailand, where they would get heart surgery from doctors who had practiced and obtained their degrees in the American system, but now practice in these foreign countries, for fees that are a fraction of the fees charged in America. The facilities and the staffs looked outstanding, and all the patients interviewed were completely happy with their decision.
