i believe the positions go back to war, persecution and not wanting anyone ever to suffer like they did. It is one of lifting all and let no one suffer.

However great the idea which we all join, we believe it has been over done, handouts do not motivate folks to be responsible, federal money leads to greed in many social programs. cities , towns jump at the opportunity to get federal dollars they see it as a way to correct some problems but it digs them in deeper into dependence on more federal social programs.
