It's interesting to see so many willing to put their head in the sand and pretend Saddam was running a utopian paradise where butcher, murder, rape and genocide never took place.

If anyone believes the Iraq people would elect the "I received 100% of the vote" Hussein to office if they had the opportunity, they are seriously mistaken.

Polls change daily based on the latest news cycle, latest incidents and latest impact from talking heads that control the Teleprompters. The only real barometer is the voting booth, that's where the American people have an opportunity to thoughtfully consider the direction we are going as a nation, and choose representatives which reflect their personal desires. Not long ago, they spoke loud and clear. They spoke to stay the course, continue the effort and help ensure a stable democracy is established in Iraq before we leave. Anything else is just wishful thinking or a desire to impose dictatorial changes on our system of government.
