You don't know what a metaphor is. Maybe your utopia adjective, and your paradise noun, qualify- but alas, they still say that you, yes you, believe that many on SI have said positive things about Saddam's government- and Michael, no matter how much you wiggle, and no matter how much you weasel, I just don't think that's true. SO show us the URL, OR tell us you've been a big bad liar. Stand proud Michael, and try, very hard, to be honest. I think you might be able to do it, maybe. It's about as likely as Iraq not having a civil war, but I hope to be wrong about the civil war thing too.

This is a bald statement of fact:

"It's interesting to see so many willing to put their head in the sand and pretend Saddam was running (now comes the possible metaphor which even with a generous construction means someone on SI said something quite positive about Saddam's government- who could have said that? Where is the URL?) a utopian paradise where butcher, murder, rape and genocide never took place. "

Find ANYONE on SI who said Saddam wasn't running a brutal dictatorship. I have seen no one who wasn't aware of what he did- but since you've seen many people, it shouldn't be hard for you to find one little post, now should it? Stop the quibbling soldier, and do your duty. Back up your words, or eat them.
