Gary, agree, that was my suggestion, although I probably didnt make it too clear, I prefer to short against the convertible(versus calls) as the spreads are smaller, and more liquid although I have written some options both against my long position(The bond) and puts against my short position. Scott

It also gets too complicated for me, I like to keep track of things in my head and when Im writting puts against a short hedged against the convertible, which I written calls on, well I need a beer!
