ORLANDO, Fla., Oct 17, 2005 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Vision Works Media Group, Inc. (Pink Sheets:VWKM) and its wholly owned subsidiary New Screen Television, Inc. today announced an aggressive programming distribution campaign to achieve its stated goal of 50 million subscribing households.
New Screen TV has recently signed a distribution agreement with Houston, Texas-based Optical Entertainment Network (OEN) www.4fiber.tv - 4fiber.tv - a fiber to home network, to distribute its programming to the company's subscriber base in the Houston market as part of their basic TV package.
The company is extremely excited about this segment of the market for its programming distribution as the growth potential nationally is limitless. In addition to the company aggressively pursuing the fiber to home market it is also holding discussions/negotiations for transponder space with satellite companies so that its programming will also be available nationally via down links to various cable companies & other distribution outlets such as pay per view.
The company with its recently signed distribution agreement for Houston, Texas and its existing broadcast on WRCF-TV Channel 29 Orlando now has a presence in two of the top markets in the country Houston (10) and Orlando (20).
