Principals should be able to remove poor teachers. For instance, if a teacher is a screw-up, fondles students, goes wacko, fails to show up, gets too lazy, etc. Sure, remove them. But standardized tests to test teachers doesn't work. The teacher then focuses on teaching to the test to save his job. And students get a narrow education.
