I think Mike was imagining liberals who would kiss Saddam, rather than thinking about any real conservatives who actually did. But I'm guessing here- I've no idea what he really saw, because he won't post any URLS. All I know is he said "It's interesting to see so many willing to put their head in the sand and pretend Saddam was running a utopian paradise where butcher, murder, rape and genocide never took place. "

I've never seen anyone, conservative or liberal, say anything remotely like that, even allowing for the hyperbole of "utopia".
