AS - I will grant you Enron did gouge. But they are a company and given imperfect regulation of energy markets in California the opportunity was wide open for an energy trading firm to exploit it. These markets weren't competitive because the gas pipelines and energy grid that could deliver energy to California was limited and could be controlled by Enron at that time.

I don't see much evidence in your other conspiracy theories. Sorry, but the world energy market is a competitive market that is largely determined by supply and demand. Do you know what that is?
