Pre-invasion, Iraq typically ran about 2.5 million barrels per day. Since then, Iraq typically ranges between 1.7 million and 2.3 million, usually under 2 million, no doubt depending on what has been blown up. Admittedly it is higher than I thought, but still well below pre-invasion numbers.

So how much is used internally? As of Jan. 1, 2005, Iraq had about 600k barrels per day of working refining capability.

So that means the oil available for export is at around 1.4 million barrels as opposed to pre-invasion of about 1.9.
