I'm well aware of the Israeli boost given to the rah-rah's of the war party. But that was just part of the mix. There were an entire constellation of reasons for invading, Jewish-American support for Israel was only one of them. Many of the neocons are closely allied with Israel, as Jewish-Americans, and close to the levers of power. I probably don't assign Israel as big a role as you do.
