"To time this sector's cycles correctly, one must jump in at the moment of greatest doom and hold patiently for long terms until irrational excuberance can overcome the greed boiling in ones blood."

Hi Bob,
My mom warned me about the stock market because of her memories of the depression. 70 years later in 1999, i could do no wrong. Now i wonder if the group is waiting for 2070 if 70 years is what it will take to get over the psychology of the tech crash. Hell forget the irrational exhuberance; i will settle for some exhuberance of the rational kind that logic says should take tech stocks higher but never seems to do so. Forget nvls for a second, can someone explain amat at $17 with their earnings and historic valuations? But even if we get some rational exhuberance that may give us a chance to get out because irrational aint happening for us any time soon. We should have recognized this major trend and switched to energy a long time ago (not now, i hope). Mike
