Newsmax was not duped. They lied. Just like they knowingly lied getting behind the stories of convicted swindler Peter Paul in fabricating scandals against Hillary Clinton, even though the matter had already been cleared in court. Newsmax's editor appears on the Al Rantel show regularly and openly admits his job is to defame and destroy democratic leaders using whatever stories, rumors or smears he can get his hands on. It is a case of over-zealous partisanship trumping truth, honesty and all journalistic standards.
