No corporation should be allowed to gouge. That is like robbing a bank times a thousand or even a million. Whomever is guilty of white collar crime should be dealt with harshly.

In this case, the entire Texas oil and energy cartel as well as Saudis and Kuwaits are guilty, going all the way up to Bush and Cheney. Since we can't put them all in jail, and there's probably not much paper evidence, we can at least windfall profit tax them, fine Halliburton for over-charging, then vote the ratfinks out of office next year and impeach the rest. That's what we call good old-fashioned justice.

These people are crooks. Make no mistake. And wou watch, as soon as Texas Bushies lose power the gas prices will drop 15%-30%. The gouging is estimated to be somewherein the area of 15-30% of the price we pay. Back in 2000-2001 it was even more for awhile. NG prices went up 450% at one point. All gouging. All Texas thievery.
