Bill O'Reilly has been calling Big Oil a cartel/monopoly. Coming from a Bush supporter like O'Reilly, I'll agree. O'Reilly clearly states (contrary to Hannity's RNC spin) that the Bushie big oil companies have been, are and will continue to basically control what we pay for oil and gas. True, they can't 100% fix the prices, but they can fake shortages and bottlenecks any time they want, and they can certainly keep energy off the market when they want. OPEC does that all the time, both to lower prices and raise them. The Bushies are not, in effect, part of OPEC, though in some ways a rival.
