Bob, you are forgetting that tech stocks were in a massive
growth phase during the 90's which justified the premiums
that they attained. We will never see that kind of
exponential growth potential in the semi industry again. It
is now a mature commodity industry and profit margins have
been squeezed and sacrificed to gain market share, along with
the other reasons you posted previously.
