FYI. FM is acquiring an interest in 3 large tailings projects in the Democratic Republic of Congo (EACH PROJECT IS VALUED GREATER THAN ITS BWANA MKUBA PROJECT IN ZAMBIA). Given that International Ballater is halted, its probably a second joint venture with them. Given the country, Gecamines (the state mining company) would also likely be a partner.

If its any of the projects that I am aware of, FM has pulled the rug out from some big players looking for properties in that country. I'm sure the availability of project financing was a key determinant... others that have been awarded projects have been slow to finance them.
