I heard the other day that the market capitalization of the NYSE Composite Index (now that is a mouth-full) had recently hit a record of about 103% of nominal GDP. Historically, it had never risen above 72% of GDP. Maybe this tells me why my large cap stocks (like BA) have been unhappy campers lately. Or maybe it's company specific?! Odd also, that MOT warns last night and goes up today. Must have been a positive conference call; I haven't listened yet. Anyway, I hope bargains can be found soon. ts PS. Good call on CYMI! I didn't touch it yet. Trying to break old habits is VERY HARD (for me anyway -g-). I decided to research it a whole lot before I bought any (you can faint now), which usually means it will have gone to the moon by the time I've figured it out. But that's ok, they'll be other buses along.
